Mental Health Support

Recognise signs of a mental health concern, respond supportively, keep someone safe in an emerging crisis and know where to get help.
 
Non-accredited. Certificate of completion issued.

Common questions

How long does my certificate last?

CPR (HLTAID009) is renewed every 12 months. First Aid, Childcare First Aid and Advanced First Aid are valid for 3 years, with the CPR component renewed yearly.

 

Is there pre-work before the course?

Yes. You get a link to short online pre-work after booking. It covers the theory so the face-to-face session is mostly hands-on practice.

 

When do I get my certificate?

The same day, once you have completed the practical assessment. Certificates are issued through Allens Training Pty Ltd (RTO 90909) and are nationally recognised.

 

Do you come to workplaces and childcare centres?

Yes, anywhere in Sydney, on a day and time that suits your roster, including after hours for childcare centres. Ask for a fixed group quote.

 

What should I bring?

Comfortable clothes you can kneel in, closed shoes, and your USI (Unique Student Identifier) for accredited courses. We supply everything else.

 

What if I need to change or cancel?

Give us 7 or more days’ notice for a full refund or free transfer; 3 to 6 days is 50%. Full details are in our Refund Policy.
